Abstract

This dissertation explores how the principle of solidarity in European migration and asylum law has evolved in a context of increasing security concerns and shifting geopolitical dynamics. It focuses on three key legal frameworks: the Dublin system, the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum, and the Temporary Protection Directive, with particular emphasis to its first activation following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
