Daniela Serra Castilhos : Doutoramento em Direitos Humanos pela Universidade de Salamanca
Diogo Sardinha studied philosophy at the University of Lisbon, received his PhD at the University of Paris Nanterre and obtained his habilitation at the University of Paris 8. He acted as president of the College International de Philosophie (Paris), where he also directed the research program “Violence and Politics”. A former visiting researcher at Catholic University of São Paulo, Freie Universität Berlin and Columbia University New York, he published and edited books and journal issues on Kant, Foucault, Deleuze, Laclau and Balibar, among others.
Jeovet Baca Virgínia é mestre em Filosofia Geral pela Faculdade de Ciências Humanas e Sociais da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (2017), com dissertação intitulada “O princípio da política de reconhecimento em Rousseau segundo Charles Taylor”. Licenciado em Filosofia pelo Instituto Superior Dom Bosco da Universidade Católica de Angola (2015), com monografia intitulada “O homem no mundo na perspetiva de Martin Heidegger”. Atualmente, doutorando no programa de doutoramento Ética, Democracia e Desafios Societais da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Sua tese visa analisar a linguagem como um dos elementos fundamentais para a construção da identidade narrativa. Esta investigação é baseada em Ernst Cassirer, Charles Taylor e Achille Mbembe.

João Motta Guedes, frequenta actualmente o doutoramento em Direito da Universidade Nova de LIsboa e o mestrado em pintura da Universidade de Lisboa. É bolsista da FCT, membro do projecto de investigação Cosmopolitanism: Justice Democracy and Citizendhip without borders, bem como da Associação Pousio Arte e Cultura. Licenciado em Direito pela Universidade de Lisboa e Mestre em Direito Internacional e Europeu pela Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. Foi aluno intercambista na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro e fez o curso de desenho e pintura e a residência artística na escola Mart. Além de várias publicações sobre a relação entre arte e direitos humanos, expõe regularmente, tendo participando também nomeadamente das exposições colectivas "Coexistência e Negociaçã", no Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães (2019) e "Como bebe uma flor", no Jardim das Amoreiras (2020). Recebeu o prémio de pintura "Alunos da Fbaul na Ermida" (2020), bem o 1o prémio na modalidade/ categoria vídeo sénior do prémio Filo-Lisboa 2020.
João Pinheiro completed an MPhil. in Philosophy at the University of Lisbon, an MSc in Global Politics at Durham University, and now reads Philosophy for his PhD at the University of Bristol. With the support of an FCT studentship, João’s conducting research on Evolutionary Ethics (with a special focus on moral cosmopolitanism) under the supervision of Samir Okasha. Further to this, he’s a member of the Centre for Philosophy of Science of the University of Lisbon and of the FCT research project “Cosmopolitanism: Justice, Democracy and Citizenship without Borders”.
Luis F. S. Nascimento: possui graduação em Filosofia (1997) e mestrado em Filosofia (2001) pela Universidade de São Paulo. É doutor em Filosofia pela mesma Universidade (2006), em co-tutela com a Université Blaise Pascal (Clermont Ferrand - França). Foi bolsista de pós-doutorado em Filosofia pela Universidade de São Paulo, financiado pela FAPESP (2008) e pela Université Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne (França), financiado pela CAPES (2015). Entre 2018 e 2019, foi Pesquisador Colaborador do Departamento de Filosofia da USP, com estágio de pesquisa na Johannes Gutenberg Universität (Alemanha) e na Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Atualmente é professor associado do departamento de Filosofia da UFSCar, onde atua nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Filosofia e em Estudos de Literatura e na Graduação em Filosofia.Tem experiência na área de Filosofia, com ênfase em Estética, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: gosto, crítica, sociabilidade e bela-arte.Professor de Estética na Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brasil
Manuel P. Fernandes é licenciado em Estudos Portugueses desde 2019 e Mestre em Filosofia desde 2021, com uma tese intitulada Errância e Espiritualidade em Matsuo Basho. É membro do Centro de Estudos Bocageanos e prepara actualmente um projecto de doutoramento dedicado ao estudo do fenómeno apócrifo em Bocage no contexto das instituições censórias portuguesas. Tem participado com comunicações em vários congressos nacionais e internacionais, sobre literatura portuguesa pós-pombalina
Marita Rainsborough completed her habilitation at Leuphana University Lüneburg and holds a PhD from the University of Hamburg, Germany. She teaches at the Institute of Philosophy and Sciences of Art, Leuphana University of Lüneburg and at the Institute of Romance Studies, University of Kiel, Germany. Since 2018, she has been an associate member of the Center of Philosophy University of Lisbon (CFUL). Her research focuses on 20th century French philosophy, contemporary legacy of classical German philosophy, intercultural philosophy, and contemporary African philosophy and literature. The publication of her doctoral thesis is entitled ‘Die Konstitution des Subjekts in den Romanen von Rachel de Queiroz. Eine diskursanalytische Untersuchung‘. Frankfurt am Main (Edition Lang), 2014. She is co-editor of the book Neumann, Martin; Rainsborough, Marita (eds.): ‘Rethinking Postcolonialism. Rutura, transgressão e transformação nas literaturas lusófonas de África’. Lisboa (Edições Colibri), 2017. Her postdoctoral thesis is published under the title 'Foucault heute. Neue Perspektiven in Philosophie und Kulturwissenschaft'. Bielefeld (Transcript), 2018. Together with Paulo Jesus and Inácio Valentim, she co-edited a special issue on ‘Kant in Africa and Africa in Kant’ of the journal 'Estudos Kantianos', Marília, 9(2), 2021. Her new book 'Interkulturelles Philosophieren. Kant und Foucault in der afrikanischen Gegenwartsphilosophie' will by published by Transcript in October 2022.

Nuno Miguel Proença holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Parisian Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and has participated in several international projects funded by the FCT (Poetics of Selfhood: Memory, Imagination and Narrative; Cosmopolitanism: justice, democracy and citizenship without borders; Medicine and Narrative: (con)texts and interdisciplinary practices; SHARE - Health and Humanity Acting Together; O conceito de natureza no pensamento médico - filosófico na transição do século XVII ao XVIII) or by the Gulbenkian Foundation (Arte médica e inteligibilidade científica na Archipathologia (1614) de Filipe Montalto). As an author he published among other works, the books "Qu'est-ce que l'objectivation en psychanalyse?" (L'Harmattan, 2008); "Wittgenstein, a prova e a actividade matemática: uma introdução" (CFCUL, 2009) and, more recently "Vida, afectividade e sentido" (Húmus, 2020).
Panu Heimonen has been educated at the Sibelius-Academy (MA, Music theory and analysis) and the University of Helsinki (MA, Musicology, Philosophy). At present he pursues doctoral studies at the University of Helsinki. He is interested in bringing together narrative ways of analysing music with traditional music analytical techniques such as Schenkerian analysis and musical Formenlehre. His dissertation on WA Mozart's piano concertos develops a music analytical approach that brings out the mechanism behind solo-ritornello -interaction in the first movement concerto form. The approach is based on existential semiotics, 18th century moral philosophy and deontic logic. He has published articles in edited books on semiotic methodology and the music of F Liszt (Maeder & Reybrouck 2017, Grabocz 2018). His other research interests include intertextuality in music analysis and application of methods of natural language processing.

Pedro Franco is a PhD candidate in the Program in Literary Theory at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, having earned a PhD grant from FCT, Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (2019-2023). Pedro holds an MA from the same Program (2018), for which he was awarded a diploma of excellence from the University of Lisbon. His master thesis focuses on virtue ethics, character development and the idea of conversion. He has published a few articles and reviews in different journals and has participated in workshops and national and international conferences on philosophy, literature and education. His main areas of research are philosophical ethics and literary studies. Since 2021 he is also Forma de Vida's Reviews Editor, the journal of the Program in Literary Theory, and since 2022 a member of Brotéria's editorial board.

Sara Fernandes (PhD University of Lisbon 2022) is a researcher of the Centre of Philosophy at the University of Lisbon. Her main research interests are the relation between philosophy and neurosciences, in particular neuroenhancement and its impact on personal identity, human nature, and neuroethics. She also works on hermeneutics, philosophy of literature and political philosophy, with a specialization on Virginia Woolf, Paul Ricoeur and John Rawls. She holds a research degree from the doctoral program on Bioethics of the Portuguese Catholic University (2009) and a MPhil in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon (2006) with a dissertation on «Paul Ricoeur and the problem of personal identity»
Soraya Nour Sckell is tenured Associate Professor at NOVA School of Law, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She is researcher at CEDIS (NOVA School of Law) and at the Center of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon. She is the Principal Investigator of the Project "Cosmopolitanism: Justice, Democracy and Citizenship without Borders". She received the Wolfgang Kaupen-Preis (German Society for Sociology, section Sociology of Law, 2018) and the German-French Friendship Prize (Ambassy of Germany in Paris, 2012). She has obtained a PhD in Philosophy from the University Paris Nanterre and the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (thesis in cotutela, 2012) and a PhD in Law from the University of Sao Paulo (1999). She has done post-doc research at the Universities of Saint Louis (SLU), Nanterre, Frankfurt a.M. and Berlin (Humboldt University) and taught at the Universities of Sao Paulo, Munich, Metz, Lille, and Lisbon, as well as at the University Portucalense. She has been director of the research program on cosmopolitanism at the Collège International de Philosophie in Paris (2013-2019) and she is the vice-president of the Association Humboldt France.
